My contribution to dinner at a friends!

Raw Cacao Macroons
3 cups desiccated coconut
11/2 cups cacao powder
1 cup agave
1/3 cup coconut butter
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt

Method
Combine all ingredients in large bowl and stir well. Using a tablspoon, scoop out all mixture and pat into flat circles. Roll in coconut and place into the fridge until ready to eat.

Dulicious!!

  2. I guess you call it "coconut butter" or is there a difference between that and "coconut oil"?

  3. Hey Michael, sorry for late response, just saw your post now! Yes, there is a difference. The coconut butter is the coconut meat blended into a butter, and the coconut oil, is just oil from the coconut, minus the meat. I have actually used both, but butter is best. Let me know how you get on! Love, KG.

  4. Well Ruth, I am glad to say that those raw macaroons were absolutely the most devine contribution to "dinner at a friend's". Delicious. Now I want to make them for a friend, and have to ask (suggest) that you add in to your delicious recipes some suggestions of where to source these miraculous ingredients?
    See you soon xxxxx
