About Ruth

“Let Food be thy Medicine and thy Medicine, thy Food”

I have now been working in the natural health and wellness industry for 20 years. Although I have trained in many disciplines over the years, most of what I do is to help people learn how to eat as much raw and living food as possible.

This way of eating has been developed after many years of studying and working in the health and beauty industry, but also in my early twenties I discovered that I didn’t feel so good after eating certain foods and eventually was diagnosed with asthma. In an attempt to try and get to the bottom of this condition, I began learning about how different foods affect our bodies.

I undertook training in the Naturopathic Nutrition with the college of ICIM and from there began to develop a keen interest in living food. I noticed that the more living food I ate, my symptoms began to improve considerably. While even now I do not eat a 100% raw or living food diet, I do eat as much as I possibly can and am a strong supporter of this way of eating for true health and vitality.

Some of the many positive effects I have experienced is that when I eat more raw and living food I have a large increase in my energy levels, clarity of thought, and a notable improvement in my overall health and wellbeing.

My original training in 1987 was as a beauty therapist and it was during this training that I experienced first-hand the damaging effects of the chemicals that were being put into our personal care products. At one stage during my aesthetician training, my tutors advised that I could not be worked on with any skin care products as I had such a bad reaction to everything that was being used on my skin.

To this day, personal care products are still slow to change the amount of chemicals being used to make our skin tighter and brighter. There are much easier and effective ways of keeping our skins glowing and wrinkle free, and that is through what we eat. While there are only a handful of skin care products that I could honestly endorse as being really effective, the truth is the best way to keep your skin healthy and spot free, is determined by the foods you eat and drink.

I look forward to meeting you one day soon.

To your good health and empowerment!

Ruth.
